• Regular Registration for the 2025 season will begin March 1st to May 31st and be $150 (plus credit processing fees). Beginning June 1st it will be considered late registration and will go up to $175 (plus credit processing fees)

• Practices will be held at location at Oxhead Road Elementary starting July (Exact day TBA) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 - 7:30 PM 

• After school commences in September, Practice will be moved to the turf fields at Veterans Park on Boyle Road in Selden, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 - 7:30 PM

• Games will start in September - they are organized by the PAL league and are posted the Monday before the weekend of the games. ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED! The Generals depend on us for school spirit.

• UNIFORMS: They will be a separate expense this year from registration fees. Returning cheerleaders may use the same uniform from last year, or pass down their uniform to another Cheerleader in their size. We will need new and returning Cheerleaders to attend these for fittings in order to order a larger size uniform.

  UNIFORM FITTINGS:

  Approximate price for the entire uniform will be $125. The Uniform will include:

  • Generals Embroidered Shell Top

  • Cheer Skirt 

  • Brief Cut Short

• Additional uniform requirements:

  • CHEER SHOES: White cheer sneakers are required as a separate expense from the ordered uniforms. You can find these at Dick’s Sporting Goods, Walmart, Amazon or any online retailer. 

  • POMS & BOW: These will be included in registration price this year. 

  • Long Sleeve White Shirts and Leggings (Plain cotton for cooler days, Compression for COLD days) - we had a few very cold game days last year - please have these on hand for your girls to keep them warm.

  • Generals Cheer Sweatshirts & Jackets- those of you that want to reorder more sweatshirts for game days (these can be worn over uniforms during games). Look on our site under merch store for optional items.

• We will be working on basic cheer tumbling (roundoffs, handstands, forward rolls, and back walkovers). We will be incorporating these into our routines and our sideline schedule during games and halftimes.

• Additional Tumbling practice for ALL cheerleaders is RECOMMENDED but OPTIONAL. If you are currently enrolled in a tumbling class anywhere, GREAT! If you are looking for us to recommend one, see below!

  • SPINS Gymnastics, Port Jefferson: If your girl is just starting out, I would recommend going to their site and joining a Tumbling class for beginners. You can Register online. www.spinsgymnastics.org 

  • LONG ISLAND CHEER, Bohemia: They are the superior cheer gym in our area. They have a lot of time options to suit your busy schedule. www.longislandcheer.com

  • We also recommend Gravity Cheer, Free-to-Fly, NeuEra, Gold medal, etc.. so many options!
